Reinhold Schlegelmilch RS Prussia White Chocolate Pot # 26892

This is a white Reinhold Schlegelmilch chocolate pot. It has some light ‘somethings’ in gold, but most of whatever design it may have had is gone. It has bits and pieces of raised gold on it and very tiny remnants of gold trim on the top rim and edge of the lid. Both sides are shown as they have different degrees of wear.

What is does still have is great shaping in the porcelain with a ridged detail at the top rim, a very lovely spout and a small hook under the spout.

The porcelain is very thin at the top edge, and the rim has three small chips-two on the right and one on the left. The chip on the right can be seen in picture 2 in the middle. There is a second chip to the right of that one. The left chip can be seen in picture 3 just above the highest gold trim. Two chips are flat chips of the outside layer of the porcelain, one is a chip that is not noticeable because of the rim shape.

The pot measures 4.00 inches across. It is 7 7/8 inches tall to the rim and slightly less than 9.00 inches to the top of the handle. The pot holds thirty-four fluid ounces.

The pot has no other chips, cracks, crazing, or other damage. The inside is clean with some slight darkening or staining at the very bottom edge.
