Bernardaud Limoges Chocolate Pot, Teapot and Sugar & Creamer Set
This is a seven piece set by Bernardaud Limgoes in pattern BER30. The set includes a choocate pot and matching lid, a teapot and matching lid, a sugar bowl and matchng lid and creamer. The set is white with a multicolor floral and scroll band at the rim with gold bands on either side. The set is marked with two Bernardaud Limgoes marks dated from 1900 to 1927 and a Gump mark from the San Francisco CA store. The set is white with a cream color band with scrolls and leaves in blue and green with some pink. I think it may be pattern # BER30. Also, the handle on the teapot is broken and possibly repaired. I have included pictures of both sides of the handle.
The chocolate pot measures 2 7/8 inches wide at the base and 2 1/8 inches wide at the rim. It is 4 7/8 inches tall to the rim and 6 1/8 inches tall to the top of the lid.
The teapot measures 4.25 inches across and is 6.50 inches from handle to spout. It is 3.00 inches tall to the rim and 3 5/8 inches tall to the top of the handle.
The sugar bowl is 3 3/8 inches across and is 2 3/8 inches tall to the rim and 3.00 inches to the top of the handle.
The creamer is 2.75 inches across and 2 3/8 inches high at the spout.
The set has gold trim, but the gold on the handle on the teapot is very worn as shown. The pieces are marked as shown. The teapot has two chips inside the rim as shown and a crack that has not broken through the porcelain as shown from inside and outside.
Of the set, the teapot appears to be the most used piece.
Other than the teapot- the set has no chips, cracks, crazing or other damage. The set is matching with all lids included.
